Building Strong Community College Partnerships

CIEI is honored to be invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Aviation Center of Excellence, an amazing facility built by the Lenoir Community College under the leadership of Dr. Hunt. We are supporting Lenoir Community College leadership’ commitment to innovation by enabling an IoT infrastructure using our PITON platform. This environment supports several smart building solutions, and it will support in the near future solutions specific to the aviation vertical, both within the facility and within the facilities of other Transpark businesses. PITON will enable innovation and collaboration between Lenoir Community College and ECU students and staff. This technological enablement adds a new dimension to the bilateral agreement orchestrated by Dr. Batts and Dr. Mohammed to drive a strong partnership around creating a roadmap for talented students to pursue advanced degrees built on an effective community college education.  It is truly amazing to see what is possible when visionary leadership and passionate technologists come together.
