Mrs. Taylor is the Administrative Assistant for “Student Services” within the Department of Construction Management. She is responsible for handling various duties pertaining to both undergraduate students and graduate (Masters program) students within the department. She assists the Undergraduate Program Director, Dr. David Batie and the Graduate Program Director, Dr. Syed A. Ahmed, with issues related to student enrollment and successful progression.

Mrs. Taylor is a Pitt County native and a longtime ECU Pirate fan. She began her career at ECU at the School of Medicine, moved to the Academic Affairs division, and joined the Construction Management department in 2006. Mrs. Taylor is especially well suited for her work with the CMGT Department because she enjoys interacting with students and has a genuine interest in each student who comes through her door. Since joining the department, she has followed the career paths of many CMGT alumni and stays in touch with them via email and letters.

Mrs. Taylor is an integral part of the Department of Construction Management and desires to continue assisting both the department faculty members and the CMGT students in their endeavors. She has been recognized for her performance when she received the Treasured Pirate Award for Outstanding Service in October 2009.

Mrs. Taylor and her husband Chris have one son, Scott. Mrs. Taylor’s love of animals is evident through her stories of their two dogs, Mona and Buddy, and Tigger, the cat. Mrs. Taylor’s free time is spent enjoying her family and her pets. And of course her favorite pastime is SHOPPING!
