Work/Industry Experience:
- I have been in the industrial fabrication and construction sector for over 20 years, beginning my journey in high school
- I currently serve as Corporate Quality Manager for The Roberts Company, Inc., industrial fabricator and constructor located in Winterville, NC
- I have taught at the Community College and University level
Teaching Interest:
- I am very thankful for the opportunity to share in the classroom the experience and knowledge I continue to obtain with the future leaders of our industry
- I enjoy teaching fundamentals surrounding Quality in Construction Projects, Human Resource Management, Non-Destructive Examination of Materials, and Welding Inspection Methods
Research Interest:
- I conduct substantial research on various alloy materials, gases, heat treatment options & their effects on molecular grain structure to assist in the development of new welding procedures to employ in the industrial fabrication industry
