Graduate Certificates

The goal of the graduate certificates is to enable students to explore graduate programs, provide a strong foundation for future study that results in a graduate degree, and/or provide the skills necessary to transition to a new field of work. The credits earned in these graduate certificate programs satisfy the requirements for entry into the graduate programs offered by our department.

On Campus and Online Options
Courses in these programs are offered in person and online. Online courses have synchronous and asynchronous options, providing flexibility to fit your needs.

Admission requirements:
Students seeking admission must submit an application with the Graduate School.

Intelligent Systems Certificate

The Intelligent Systems Certificate is designed to prepare students to apply machine learning and artificial intelligence models to analyze complex data. Students who successfully complete the program will demonstrate proficiency with analytic methods, machine learning and artificial intelligence through problem-based activities and real-world experiences with an understanding of related ethical, social, organizational, legal and security issues.

Software Engineering Certificate

The Software Engineering Certificate is designed to prepare students to develop robust, scalable and secure software applications. Students who successfully complete the program will demonstrate proficiency in software testing and the development lifecycle with an understanding of related ethical, social, organizational, legal and security issues.
