Teaching Interests
Dr. Janet H. Sanders teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Quality Assurance, Statistical Quality Control, Statistics, and Six Sigma.She has also developed modules for Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. For the Industrial Technology program, she teaches undergraduate courses in Food Safety and Sanitation and Quality in a Regulatory Environment.
Research Interests
Dr. Janet H. Sanders’ research interests include process improvement utilizing root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and Six Sigma.Her research also includes the study of management theories and their impact on process improvement. She has over 25 years of process improvement experience in various manufacturing and service industries. Dr. Sanders’ certifications include ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, and Six Sigma Black Belt. She is also a consultant and trainer for Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Six Sigma for manufacturing, service, and healthcare environments.
