College Professor Wins Most Influential Paper Award
Dr. Merwan Mehta, professor in the Department of Technology Systems in ECU’s College of Engineering and Technology, received the Most Influential Paper Award at the 2017 International Conference on Software and Systems Processes (ICSSP), which was held at the Université Pierre & Marie Curie in Paris, France. The paper, titled “Providing Value to Customers in Software Development through Lean Principles,” was published in Software Process: Improvement and Practice, Volume 13, Number 1, 2008, (pages 101-109). It was chosen based on the distinction of being the most downloaded article in a 10-year retrospective study by publisher Wiley Interscience.
Mr. David Anderson of David J. Anderson & Associates Inc., and Dr. David Raffo, professor of Supply & Logistics Management and Information Systems at Portland State University, are co-authors of the award-winning paper.
