Career Development & Leadership Center
The College of Engineering and Technology (CET) invites you to use the Career Development and Leadership Center (CDLC) located in room 239 of the Science and Technology Building. The CDLC staff includes Assistant Director and Counselor Lauren LaMantia and one graduate assistant to fulfill the mission in Career Services to support and empower students in their career development and to succeed as professionals in a global community. You can contact Lauren via email at lamantial21@ecu.edu or call 252-328-9632.
The CDLC organizes functions such as career networking days, career fair socials, business etiquette dinners, leadership opportunities and external speakers for our college’s majors. We invite you to visit the center as soon as you become a major in one of our programs so we can help you get prepared for the workforce. Along with East Carolina University’s Department of Career Services, we assist with:
- major and career planning
- development of resumes and cover letters
- internship, co-op and job searches
- interview preparation
- networking and career fair preparation
- building and promoting a professional social media presence
- personal statements for graduate school
- career services as alumni
