Inaugural Pie Day Celebration Announced

Pieing a Professor! Who wouldn’t want to do that? From 12-3 p.m. on 3/14, ECU students, for a small donation, can vote for their favorite ECU professor to get pied during the inaugural PiDay Celebration, sponsored by the College of Engineering and Technology’s Tau Beta Pi chapter. And, for at least a dollar, student names will be put into a raffle for doing the actual pieing, which will start at 3:14 p.m. Where? Outside Dowdy Student Bookstores.

Proceeds will go to buy a Bent for the Chapter, a traditional bronze symbol that represents past, current and future engineering successes and excellence. And, of course, cookies and pie slices will be available for purchase. For information, contact Laura Mosley at mosleyl14@students.ecu.edu.
