ISSA chapter learns from Cisco security engineer

East Carolina University’s chapter of the Information Systems Security Association met in November. The meeting was sponsored by Rob Martin, an ECU graduate and information security engineer at Cisco systems in RTP. Martin was also the speaker at the event and spoke about how it was important to know what you want and set goals to achieve what you want in life.  He also talked about different career options that are available to students who graduate from ECU and what certifications would help students succeed. Overall, I think every student gained a new view of what will be expected of them in their careers and how to reach goals they set for themselves.
