Computer Science students visit IBM Data Center

Many of the students are members of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Student Chapter (Ding is the faculty advisor) and Women in Computer Science (WiCS) group. Tiffany Nguyen is the chair for both groups.

The visit was hosted by Bill Buchanan and Michael Case at IBM. Buchanan is an ECU alumnus and a member of the department’s advisory board. He conducted an information session on IBM’s hiring process, which the students found very informative, Ding said.
