Teaching Interests
My teaching interests include engineering mechanics, computational methods for engineering, characterization of nonlinear materials, and biomechanics. Current courses that I instruct include Mechanics of Materials, Solid Mechanics, and Introduction to Engineering Computation.
Research Interests
My research interests include metabolic conditions (e.g., diabetes and hyperglycemia) and their effects on soft tissue mechanics; constitutive modeling of hyper-elastic and viscoelastic biological materials; finite element analysis; and how to provide pathways of engineering education for K-12.
