We are proud to be honoring the class of 2008. We are proud of the successes of all the ECU Engineering Alumni.
In May 2008, a group of the ECU Engineering Class of 2008, banded together and donated $1500 as an investment in a scholarship for engineering students. Since that time ECU Engineering has grown from 20 newly graduate engineers to a cadre of over 550 graduates. It all started with an idea and an investment of people, time and money.
The 2018 All Classes Reunion was held as a continuation of that giving spirit demonstrated by that first group of graduates. We’ve grown through your support and your investment. We are thankful for your contributions to the success of ECU Engineering.
We’re calling this the 200 SOS campaign, $200 from each alumni supports a Student on Scholarship. We are asking all ECU Engineering Alumni to invest $200 each for an endowed scholarship. Your investment of $200 will make a great step forward for an endowed scholarship. If every alum gives, the ECU Engineering Alumni Scholarship will become a reality in 2018.
There are some of you still working on student loans. We know that. Maybe a smaller investment would be best fro you. There are some of you who have been very successful in your careers because of the foundation you received during your time in ECU Engineering. Maybe a larger investment fits your plans. Please, invest based on your ability to help all of us fund this scholarship.
